Well, easy come, easy go. Almost as soon as I learned about the Plex Cloud beta, I saw that Plex will stop supporting Amazon Cloud Drive after December 31. I was all ready to sign up for an unlimited Amazon Cloud Drive for $60/year and chuck our home-based movies and TV shows in it, but it was not to be. I get it. Serving a small file here and there to a user is one thing. Serving large video files at a continuous bitrate high enough for HD video is quite another. Plex has announced that they will support some other well-known cloud services, but that Amazon deal would have felt so stable and trustworthy. Someday!
