In Bookmark Heaven

Thanks to the “Make Bookmarkable” script from Doug’s AppleScripts for iTunes, I can now listen to a podcast at home in iTunes, pause it, sync with the iPod, and pick up where I left off later on the iPod. And the bookmarks sync back the other direction, too! This is unbelievably cool. The only downside is that I have to convert the files from mp3 to AAC, but I ought to be able to figure out how to get Automator to do that for me every night. iPodderX to the rescue - it can convert the podcasts to AAC and make them bookmarkable on the fly. Mmmmm.
