Gift-Shopping Using Plain-Text Files and Such?

How are you folks using your Palms, index cards, plain-text files, etc., to do your holiday shopping? On the Palm, I used to use HandyShopper, recently tried dumping new things into a plain-text MemoPad note, briefly imported those into ShadowPlan because of its cool Tags (i.e. Stores), and am now moving back to HandyShopper. I’ll set up “Stores” as people and as real stores. Just wanted to know what other like-minded geeks are doing.
